Welcome to my music studio website! I’m currently offering piano, clarinet, and harp lessons at my in-home studio and virtually (via zoom). Keep reading below to learn more about how virtual lessons work and how to get started.
Do virtual music lessons really work?: Short answer, yes! I believe that both in-person and online learning have their advantages. Online music lessons are a wonderful opportunity for us to work together from anywhere in the world using video conferencing services such as Zoom or FaceTime. During online lessons we can embrace the power of technology and utilize online learning tools that will not only engage and motivate, but increase efficiency in learning. Check out this article for more on the creativity that has come out of remote teaching.
Who can enroll in virtual music lessons?: Anyone! I teach music lessons to any and all ages and abilities, 0-100.
What do I need for virtual music lessons?
- An instrument – depending on which lessons you are enrolled in you will need either a harp, a clarinet, or a piano (either an acoustic piano or digital keyboard will work!)
- An online video conferencing platform such as Zoom or FaceTime.
- An electronic device such as a computer, iPad, or smart phone, with a high speed internet connection.
How do we get started?
- If you or your child is interested in online piano lessons, contact me to get started!
- After receiving your message via the contact form, I will contact you to go over details and answer any questions you have. We will then schedule our weekly lessons.
- On your lesson day, login a few minutes before your lesson time. I will start the lesson when it’s time to begin.
